By booking or attending a session at The Splatter Room Studio, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings & Payment
All bookings must be made in advance via our booking system.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Bookings are non-transferable unless agreed in writing.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
All bookings are non-refundable.
You may request to reschedule your booking with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice, late arrivals, or no-shows are not eligible for rescheduling or refunds.
If we need to cancel a session for any reason, you will be offered a reschedule or a full refund.
3. Arrival & Session Times
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session start time.
Late arrival may result in a reduced session time or loss of booking.
Sessions start and finish promptly to allow for safe turnaround and cleaning of the studio.
4. Participation & Behaviour
Participation is entirely at your own risk.
All participants must follow instructions given by staff at all times.
Throwing paint at faces or engaging in unsafe, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour is strictly prohibited.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate, without refund.
5. Clothing & Personal Belongings
Protective overalls, safety glasses, and shoe covers are provided.
Neon paint does not wash out of clothing or footwear. We strongly recommend wearing old clothes, especially for neon sessions.
The Splatter Room Studio accepts no responsibility for damage to clothing, footwear, phones, jewellery, or personal belongings.
Personal items are brought into the studio at your own risk.
6. Age Restrictions & Supervision
.Age requirements vary by session and are clearly stated at the time of booking.
Children under 16 must have an adult on site at all times, at a ratio of 1 adult per 5 children.
Children under the minimum age stated for a session will not be permitted to participate.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for the behaviour and supervision of children attending sessions
7. Health & Medical Considerations
If you or your child have allergies, respiratory conditions, sensory sensitivities, epilepsy, migraines, or any medical concerns, please contact us before booking.
Paints used are non-toxic, but are not suitable for ingestion or contact with eyes.
Participation may not be suitable for individuals affected by loud music, physical activity, flashing lights, or sensory stimulation.
8. Neon Sessions & UV Lighting Disclaimer
Neon splatter sessions take place in a darkened studio under UV (black) lighting.
UV lighting may not be suitable for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy, migraines, sensory sensitivities, or certain medical conditions.
Neon paints used are non-toxic, but are permanent on most fabrics.
By booking a neon session, participants (or parents/guardians on behalf of children) confirm they understand and accept these conditions and are comfortable participating under UV lighting.
9. Photography & Media
Neon splatter sessions take place in a darkened studio under UV (black) lighting.
UV lighting may not be suitable for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy, migraines, sensory sensitivities, or certain medical conditions.
Neon paints used are non-toxic, but are permanent on most fabrics.
By booking a neon session, participants (or parents/guardians on behalf of children) confirm they understand and accept these conditions and are comfortable participating under UV lighting.
10. Damage to Property
Normal splatter activity is expected and accounted for.
Deliberate or reckless damage to studio property, equipment, or facilities beyond normal use may result in charges.
Participants may be held responsible for intentional damage.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Splatter Room Studio is not liable for:
Loss or damage to personal property
Injury arising from participation, except where caused by our negligence
Emotional distress or discomfort arising from participation
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
12. Changes to Sessions or Terms
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to sessions, pricing, or these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated terms will be published on our website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
